Artist: Roman Leykam + Frank Mark P: 1994 Music that sounds like Fripp & Eno. Leykam und Mark have perfected the art of conjuring up excellent associative soundscapes and spinning meditative, spherical veils on this instrumental CD. Spherical, softly flowing sound sculptures reveal a balanced peacefulness and positive energy. Here the last copy!
Artist: Pete Namlook P: 1988 Before Namlook started the Fax Label, he was Head of the group: Romantic Warrior. Along with some other well known musicians he produced music in the vein of Doldinger`s Passport, Kraan or even Patrick O`Hearn. Here the last copy of the picture disc version.
Artist: Ron Boots + Friends P: 2015 LTD 100 Live set of the Awakenings gig toghether with the encore with all musicians there. Here the last copies!
Artist: Ron Boots & Others P: 1993 "By Popular Demand" is a CD of live performances by Ron Boots, Eric van der Heijden and friends. The friends are Gerald Vos, Harold van der Heijden, Ad van Gerwen, Bas Broekhuis, Ingrid Lohuis and Klaus Hoffman Hoock. Some of the selections feature Ron's penchant for live synth trios, others feature synth duets and percussion. The highlight is the cosmic and ethereal "Through Mental Doors." That piece features narration by Louise, Harold's masterful drumming, a synth trio of Ron, Eric and Ad and Ad and Ron on didjeridu! It is one of the wildest outer space rides imaginable! The massive soundscape is carried by some wild sci-fi manipulations and some overblown sequences. Ron's didg drone sets it up and a synth drone takes it home. The whole album sparkles with energy and giddy zeal. This is a classic example of live electronica and its intention - fun and entertainment! Here the last copy of the original CUE-Records Version!
Artist: Ron Boots P: 1994 On this album a great selection of (remixed and upgraded) tracks can be heard which were all taken from his earlier cassettes. Most tracks are inspired by books like Tolkien and Stephen King which gives the whole album a very visual and/or dreamy touch. According to Ron this CD was the hardest to make. A lot of the original synthesizers were sold so he had to re-create the original feeling with new synths. And as every musician knows: That's Hard!. Here the last copy!
Artist: Ron Boots P: 2009 LTD 400 In complement to Beyond the Boundaries of Twilight, Ron Boots offers to his fans a limited edition of 400 cd’s of his musical reflections regarding concerts which he presented in diverse planetariums in his last 7 years. Boundary Tales is an album very near Beyond the Boundaries of Twilight, but with a more intimate touch where the rhythm goes alongside to long atmospheric passages sometimes poetic, sometimes atonal. Music made over a period of 7 years that adds to the story of "Beyond the Boundaries of Twilight". Here the last copy!
Artist: Ron Boots P: 1997 This album was created between October '96 and July '97. All songs composed by Ron Boots except Close Call; drums by Harold van der Heijden . Vocals on Close Call by Ron Boots “Let the Dream continue…”. These words are written by Ron Boots in the booklet of “Current”, his 1997-album and his tenth anniversary of releasing music (of course, he was already making music much longer, as was later proved on his “80’s Box”). “Current” was an important album for the Dutchman. It came as a follow-up of some rather successful albums and can perhaps be regarded as a “warm-up” for his brilliant album “Tainted Bare Skin” from 1998. Now, again ten years later, “Current” has been carefully remastered by Ron and re-released. “Current” is a solo-album in the true sense of the word. Where on many other albums Ron is accompanied by guest-musicians, he works alone on “Current”. The only exception are the drums on “Close Call” which are played by Harold van der Heijden. Two things play an important part on “Current”. First of all, the sequences; they are beautifully crafted and long-stretched. This can already be heard in the masterful opening track “Current part 1” and “Below Paradise (Current part 2)”. The second thing is that Ron experiments some more with rhythms, new sounds and atmospheres. Rhythm is quite essential in “Ambiguity”, “Close Call” (in which Ron’s voice also can be heard) and “Smiles”. “Alignment” and “Reciprocal” are all about atmosphere and intense warmth. Here the last copy of the first version!
Artist: Ron Boots P: 1995 Again this album is a remarkable example how electronic music should sound like. Almost immediately the great "Boots" atmosphere is set when the listener actually takes off with the first track "Rumor Control". Powerful sequencers and rhythms go together with great plains of clear sound, solos and effects which made this album a big success in Europe. Here the last copy!
Artist: Ron Boots P: 1991 Mystical, atmospheric soundscapes. On his 2nd CD Ron worked together with Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock, founder of the German band Mind over Matter. The overall atmosphere is dreamy but the dynamic album closing Desert Clouds really puts you back on your feet! Besides offering a more primal glimpse into Boots' music, this release delivers a softer side of Boots' electronic styling. The compositions are moodier here, more rooted in the ambience of Steve Roach or Michael Stearns than the powerful epics of Boots' more recent works. And yet, Boots introduces his own elegance to these atmospheric soundscapes, injecting subtle power to this peaceful sonic domain. The first version once was released at the Cue-Records label.
Artists: Ron Marvin P: 1992 Different flowing and melodic synthesizer titles. Played by Martin Buntrock. Here the last copy!
