With their album "I" of the group "Carboneids" the two Danes Claus Holm Lynglund and Bjørn Jeppesen present their debut-album. The duo work togehter since 1998. Bjørn Jeppesen with his solo project "Nattefrost" and anchorman of the broadcast "Elektroland", leaves his familiar EM-fields. Besides classical electronical sounds the album is dominated by rhythmic songs and unique vocoder-sounds. All tracks persuade by their opinionated pop-character and remind us of the early sound of Depeche Mode. Friends of the 80th-Electro-Synthi-Pop get their money worth. But also friends of classical EM will admire the Analogue sound-worlds of Carboneids and recognize their love for details.
