Montage, the second part of Raumland trilogy describes the mounting of several bases to form a new biosphere, at a desired place beyond the orbit of our planet earth. Hence the installation creates a new, pure space for a community, which is aware of its environmental resources and deals with them in a responsible and sustainable manner. The thematic blend is musically arranged in a perfect assemblage of Chill-out, Jazz, House, Ambient and Space Music. Strings and sound-sculptures are woven harmonically with each other and develop a diversified and ideal structure.
David and Pete's symbiotic collaboration yields an ever-building synergy, and the result is brilliant music which fascinates the listener and invites introspection.

This nearly 6 hours of music never lead to an aggressive musical environment. Everything stays smooth and powerful at the same time. Never superficial, never "just" modern.
Most of the original CD releases are sold out and have never been reissued. So this again *is* a collectors item already. And as our first MP3 releases sold very fast we guess you don't want to miss this one. Of course original cover graphics are again included in the 16 page color-booklet.

Recorded live at David's reSource studio in Heidelberg Dave and Pete this time explore travelling the silk route in a journey through sound.
Jazz, oriental sounds, enviromental ambient and innovative percussions relate to the silk route as a synonym for a trade and cultural transmission route winding through different civilizations as well as various landscapes connecting East and West Asia.
The musical sequences are combined in a superb way, which portray the links of traders, merchants, pilgrims, monks, nomads and urban dwellers traveling from China to the Mediterranean Sea during various periods of time on the route.
The rich and inventive music is a union of cultural elements reflecting the Silk Road which was a significant factor in the development of the great civilizations and helped to lay the foundations for the modern world.
