Tyndall, Nik
Nik Tyndall (real name: Jürgen 'Nik' Krehan, born 1963), is one of Germany's most versatile musician specializing in instrumental and electronic music.
Krehan met 1979 Rudolf "Rudi" Langer and both moved to West Berlin in 1980, they worked together until 1983. First recordings were released in 1980 at the Hamburg based electronic label Sky-Records. As of 1983 he took over the group name Tyndall as a personal artist's name and added his nickname Nik. As Nik Tyndall he published over 100 realeases till today also under different names (see list at the end...) and played live at the Frankfurt Synthesizerdays White Waves or under the pseudonym of Reiki). He excited with live concerts, including at the electronics days in Berlin in 1985, the fair "Synthimedia 1987, 1986 and 1987 Germany's biggest synthesizerfestival White Waves or Ars Electronica.
In addition to his solo albums he played other musical projects such as: Akiro Tenere, Chill Out Ocean Cut, Sleeping Bodies, Electronic Club Lounge, Grado Lagoon Project, Maschinensaal, Digital Nomads or Anuvida. Meanwhile, the election-Berlin has released over 100 albums, but stopped making music since a few years.
