"Tropical Night" collects enough material for an entire studio album plus a few previously hard to find tracks including a slowed-down version of their club/trance track "Gimme all your lovin'" as well as two other rare gems from Innovative Communication collection albums.

True to it's title, Dancing Fantasy's 1991 sophomore outing is absolutely perfect "California Grooves" as it does a great job at capturing the spirit of California as it strongly reminds you of a trip to the Sun State.
"Good Morning America" is a beautiful haunting song with a beautiful groove and echoing background beats.
This is highly recommended.

This CD is pretty good. Till The End Of Time is one of the better selections. Followed up by Daydreamer this features George Bishop on flute. Walk Of Life is a spacey song which has vocal scatting on it. This appears to be Dancing Fantasy trademark. They sure aren't George Benson or Al Jarreau. Aisha is a smooth-romantic song. Changes... this song has some non-vocal singing on it. It's got kind of a depressing sound to it. Next is the song Icedrift, it is a guitar-based song. It's slow and nice. Secrets is another good song. The sax playing is really good. Point Blank was a song that received some airplay back when this CD was new. This has got a good beat and is one of the best tracks on this CD. Streets Of Desire has a pre-programmed keyboard sound to it. It also features Bill Joseph Flynn on guitar. Big Light starts out kind of sluggish, but builds up to a pretty good song. Satellite is an eerie song. The final track Blue Bamboo was recorded live and taken from another disk. This has some good percusion sounds.

If you love well produced, melodic contemporary jazz / new age. Really gets the blood pumping. This one will be a staple in my disc player for years to come.

Midnight Boulevard is Dancing Fantasys debut album. Released in 1990 it became a suprise hit on the radio. Cry Nature, like Midnight Boulevard, is a classic. The album does stumbles though in some areas.
The last three are dance remixes. One is a dance club mix of the title track. The dance beat works fine with dance mix the title track. Like the original version the music itself is good and in fact is actually improved on the remix with the new keyboards.
However instead of Voodoo Jammin being bad it's actually quite good in all of it's versions. The version on Moonlight Reflections is better though.

"Moonlight Reflections" showcases incredible musicianship by the McLaw/ Williams duo and this whole album is great even if some tracks rank a little inferior to others. Dancing Fantasy have never toyed with New Age, pop, smooth jazz, and electronics like they did with this album.

Dancing Fantasy do throw out new albums frequently but something about how they produce the music makes it not sound rushed. This CD is their best in years beating out their three previous albums. I could say this is their best since Moonlight Reflections. The music is so colorful and dreamlike. Highlands is spooky. Asian Fantasies is one of the two best songs on this CD. Its so stunning reminding me of the title track of their Moonlight Reflections CD. The other is A Million Miles Away. I could close my eyes when listening to this song and imagine myself drifing with the clouds over a green landscape. The rest of this CD is great too. This is real smooth jazz not the forgettable thrown together elevator jazz.
