Aliens Project - Biker's Paradise

Artists: Aliens Project
P: 1999

This electronic Xperimental album is the mirror of my black biker soul. From the booklet: Oh no, this is certainly not "right" biker music as we know it from iconic rocker parties from the clubhouses. And as cuddly music or cuddly skirt you can not call that. But to fit in a certain drawer, that should not and will not be the goal of this album. At this point we would like to apologize, we are really sorry, if you hear the bass loudspeakers listening loudly, sorry. From the perspective of the composition here was trying to leave the beaten track and just do something different. What did he think? That was once again a really cool party. The last empty beer cans in the corner. Most bikers are already back on the road on the way home. Still. Only the campfire still glows quietly. Passed through three days. I stink and my long hair is totally glued. No jägi anymore. Completely fatigued still a cigarette, and calmly a last beer. It's Sunday afternoon. I'm the last one again, and my brothers are already waiting. The first, still cold V-Twins, are shivering and shivering, chugging reluctantly and not yet walking properly. I stand next to my baby, lovingly stroking my hand over the tank, and -It's gonna be ... one, two strong kick- slight coughing and farting. So again, three, four, five ... Suddenly like a scream, a loud short bang. Shaking and shaking Dreivierteltakt is in the air. The still damp ground from the morning dew shakes, the air vibrates. We roll slowly from the square and are finally back on the road. Sonores thunder of the V-engines, and the hardest Brothers have a slight grin on their face.A sense of freedom, finally free, and around me is the dark side of power. What can be more beautiful? The air is fresh and green, sleepy cows turn lazily their heads.Einame highway, cool Ri dreaming with open eyes ... This is the music of a seasoned biker, who has impressed the impression of his rear sight deeply and permanently in various Harleysitze for over twenty years. Someone for whom "being a biker" is and remains the top priority in his life. A dirty, rough guy, as dirty, rough and lovable as his music. made on earth, for all my big bad brothers around the world.

Aliens Project - Drop Out

Artists: Aliens Project
P: 2001

The various elements of electro, hip-hop and industrial up to rock jazz were merged into a new unit on this CD. The album captivates with its many unusual sounds and moods, the vocal passages have been deeply embedded in the sound design and the deliberate renunciation of the total monocompatibility opens up completely new sound worlds for the stereo listener. Our society today is characterized by superficiality and improvisation and this music sees itself as a mirror of our time. It was neither perfect nor smooth, but produced with a lot of fun and love. The computers were deprived of any power, they were only to serve as helping crutches, because the human touch should be maintained in any case.

Aliens Project - Zero Gravity

Artists: Aliens Project
P: 2011

Equipped with synthesizers and the wildest equipment, "Zero Gravity" rather serves the social conditioning on the subject of "alien" with as versatile instrumentation as possible, instead of creating a very own universe. Diverse Wupp-Wupp sounds and otherwise trimmed samples seem familiar to anyone who has seen episodes of Twilight Zone or X-Files here and there. This kind of thing can quickly seem cheesy, but the sound-tinker works against it with almost inexhaustible experimentalism. It seems that everything has found room on "Zero Gravity", which somehow creates interesting sounds. That makes the matter shine colorfully and invites to the lively guesswork, which sound was created as or what electronic origin and what was improvised with the micro. However, before a shallow soundcheck comes out of it, Land throws in his sparkling, booming and buzzing Soundscape sessions again and again song structures that brings the kingdom of ingredients in a coherent order. The drum kit is first used on "Time Goes Bye", but only "Lil 'Moon Farter" adds something like a motif to the rhythm. Nevertheless, the story always likes to dodge in ambient landscapes, making machines hum, talking robot voices and buzzing equipment. In addition, the beats change permanently, from jungle to industrial to pop everything is there.

Aliens Project vs. Programmierte Welten - Kamerun-da Chillaz

Artists: Aliens Project
P: 2006

Kamerun da chillaz "is, after" TheReMinator "the second album of the joint live project of "ALIENS-PROJECT vs. PROGRAMMED WORLDS"
These live recordings document the music of the events from 2003 to 2005, recorded in various underground clubs in Germany's cities. "Kamerun-da chillaz" is sometimes quite chilled and not as hard as the first live project. The CD is also the culmination of a multi-year collaboration on stage.
The history.
The Gallusviertel is a district of Frankfurt am Main and extends from the central station to Griesheim and the Rebstockgelände to the Gutleutviertel. Since the turn of the century around 1900, the whole Gallus is popularly referred to as "Cameroon".  Two musicians commemorate their roots together ... Cameroon is much more than a mere reminder of a period of life. It is a symbol that permanently shapes people, a journey to the simple. You do not just live "just like that" in Frankfurt Cameroon, but rather you become part of it.
Welcome to Cameroon, MOVE YOUR ASS TO THE BEATS!

Bernd-Michael Land + H.D. Schmidt - 99 Temples

Artist: Bernd-Michael Land & Hans-Dieter Schmidt
P: 2023

In many cultures, the temple is the central building and characterizes a settlement. In addition to the religious significance of the temple, it is also a place of contemplation and meditation. For Europeans, the Japanese temples with their rock gardens are mystical places that hold many secrets. In their program "The Pilgrim of the mysterious 99 Temples", Bernd-Michael Land and Hans-Dieter Schmidt want to take you into this unknown world. With gongs, singing bowls, bamboo flutes and electronics, sound worlds are created that alternate between world and ambient music and open up unknown musical spaces. This music should encourage you to slow down, in the spirit of Land's last album "Slowing world".

Bernd-Michael Land - Begegnungen

Artist: Bernd-Michael Land
P: 2023

The music is a combination of different soundscapes that combine to form meditative sound sculptures as a closed unit. Analogue, rhythmic sequences and artificially generated, unknown sounds from electronic synthesizers merge and morph with strange natural sounds, the so-called "field recordings". Other sounds from surface and edge vibrators, such as symphonic orchestra gongs, singing bowls and other acoustic instruments, complement each other in a dynamic dialogue. The works of these three pillars of sound were developed in a transdisciplinary context. They stand in an intermedial relationship to each other and thereby combine to form a new hybrid reality in sound, space and time.
For the realization of this album analog synthesizers were used to a large extent, occasionally also digital machines in the form of hardware, but no virtual software sound generators from the computer. A computer connection via MIDI interface was deliberately avoided. All sound elements were recorded directly by hand and then recorded as an audio file. Although this is not a perfect way of working, which can occasionally lead to erroneous results, it has nevertheless been prioritized in favor of the "human touch" in the music. Music is communication and doesn't have to be perfect.

Bernd-Michael Land - Das Lächeln der Bäume No. 5 Definitivum

Artist: Bernd-Michael Land
P: 2020

4-page booklet, cover card + 28-page booklet enclosed in a slipcase.
Part 5 is definitive and is the final thesis for the multi-award-winning project.
Bernd-Michael Land conjures up unheard sounds from his huge synthesizer park again. There are new pieces on the subject of "The Trees' Smile", which he performed in various locations from 2011-2016. From the sound installations in discrete 4-4-4 quadrophony, the tracks were remixed in stereo and that gives the music a very good spatial depth. This can now also be heard in the additional pieces of the 5th part. Here you can hear from experimental new sounds to melodically catchy tracks a very varied music, which is a worthy conclusion of the 5-part CD series.
