Australian Matt Goodluck’s 2023’s “Inner Cosmos” brings a wide and modern electronic palette to the table. The lead vocalist for Australian act ‘Echoes of Pink Floyd’, expect no saucerful of secrets here. Instead you are served up shorter flights of fantasy with Tangerine Dream, Steven Wilson, Vangelis and the movie “Stranger Things” on the brain. Matt’s debut solo release travels across many landscapes including the use of spoken word passages which makes songs more like a trip to “The Night Gallery” of Rod Serling.
Upon Matt’s original digital only release, the idea of putting together a physical version of this project was a catalyst for what is now OtherSide. Remastered by Robert Rich to give depth and clarity to the nuances in these paintings, and with postcards specially created for the package by and forMr. Goodluck, “Inner Cosmos” became part of the physical world.
