Vanderson - Beyond Time Structure

Artist: Vanderson
P: 2017
Beyond Time Structure, the new album from the Polish artist Vanderson consists seven energetic songs between 6 and 13 minutes. Every song has all the time it needs to evolve to a very special and harmonic piece of Electronic Music. Gorgeous melodies, deep sound and an extremely well balance between melodic and hypnotic elements, make this album so wonderful. Vanderson is well known for harmonic tunes and his own style playing with simple but intelligent sequences. On Beyond Time Structure he adds an additional portion of rhythmic elements so this album became different from his so far known work. Some influences by modern electronic dance music are intended. Also the sound design is more modern without losing the spirit of his past releases. Listen to it and You get lost in time.

Vanderson - Fluorescentix

Artist: Vanderson
P: 2007/ 2008
Maciej Wierzchowski aka Vanderson is an analoque/digital synths artist from Poland who arrested my attention with his contribution to the Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes compilation Ticket To Mars Vol. 2. On this 3 track EP, he produces wide synthesizerenvironments that remind to Rainbow Serpent. Nice sequences as basic tracks and good synthmelodies on top.

Vanderson - Synthetic Breath

Artist: Vanderson
P: 2012
Many electronic music fans have already expressed my feelings: sequential electronics is a well-explored field on which little remains to be yet discovered - and still, from time to time one happens to find a true pearl on this field. This CD by Vanderson is certainly one of such gems - we will find truly magic moments here. It's all about that: sequential electronics is first of all a mixture of moods, colours and landscapes. Vanderson managed to mix all the most important ingredients in his own special way, thus creating an enthralling album that can really be enjoyed.
The new Vanderson album opens with a quite good hit: good old Berlin-style sequences come from out of the farthest galaxies, they sound fairly "tangerine" (as if taken from the pretty old single Ultima Thule!) and are full of melotrone-flute sounds, giving a special charm to it - one could ask oneself if it's not an unreleased Sorcerer-session by Tangerine Dream themselves?... Sure one have already heard such textures, but now it's really not important who discovered these sounds - the main thing is, that this moody introduction is just great.
The second track is a very nice synthesis of traditional electronica and ambient swamps - one could indeed dive and even drown in this music. Here we get a splendid, 12-minute long analogue bath topped with sequential foam - great relax for every true music lover. The third impression may easily be associated with "lurking' soundscapes created by the Ramp-project: it's still sequential electronics in good old style, however, it sounds modern and perfectly mysterious. Sadly, this piece is only 7 minutes long. Piece no. 4 has a box structure, since there is a complicated structure to it hidden behind symmetrical sequential doors. As soon as the rhythm line gets even more nervous and dizzy, we can realize that this composition is Vanderson's "power supply" to the fantastic Virtual Vices-series by Pete Namlook and Wolfram Spyra.
The fifth piece invites the Listener into the great wide open of misty beatless galaxies that no-one has yet dreamed of. This polar ambient-block is perhaps the best piece in the whole set: now we can travel to the most distant wilderness hidings we have ever thought of...
The final track is the longest one. Icy arpeggiator movements get a good bounce from the groovy bass line of the leading sequence, and as the track paces along some chord-sighs and improvised solos get on board. We are now taking an uneasy path towards ambiental echoes in the mood of Tangerine Dream's ingenious Phaedra.

Vanderson - Vandisphere

Artist: Vanderson
P: 2016
After releasing his music by auto-productions, at Mellowjet, Syngate and Generator, vanderson now presents his mort recent work on the electronic label Spheric Music for the first time (Spheric Music is well known for his releases by e.g. Robert Schroeder and Lambert).
In the past Vanderson has been acknowledged for his Berlin School-type of music in the vein of Tangerine Dream.
The new album however puts more weight on the creation of dreamlike atmospheres.
You can also hear Tangerine Dream-like sequences, but the relaxing musical journey is coloured by yearning sounds and melodies, that like spots are embedded in a spheric soundscape.
The rhythmic supported sequences and tender effects enrich the soft and deep sound, which altogether are a wonderful environment for a gliding flight through soft dreamworlds.
Close your eyes and let yourself carry away.
An album for dreaming, drifting away and well feeling.
Comparable to: Axess, Klangwelt, Pyramid Peak, Robert Schroeder...

Vanderson - Visions

Artist: Vanderson
P: 2011
A few thoughtful electronic thuds, some distant sweeps of cosmic wind... Slowly the curtain falls and we may cross the border between this everyday world and that visionary one created by Vanderson. The author serves us an enthralling, hypnotic synthesis of traditional Berlin School sounds, Jarre-ing ambience and a bit of contemporary touch at its best. As if it still was not enough, we will hear amazing mellotron "chorals", so that the pumping sequences may turn into motionless mouldy stones, while the final track is the same deep black electronic water as Klaus Schulze's Blanche. When the music is over, the best thing for the Listener to do is to push the play button once again - and drift along, towards some other tale, some other dream, some other vision. Vanderson's music is visual-rich and visionary indeed.

Vanderson featuring Lambert - Sequenced Thoughts

Artist: Vanderson featuring Lambert
P: 2018
Vanderson returned to his sequencer based electronics for what he was admired for in the past. He already released various albums on several electronic labels like Syngate, Mellowjet and Generator. His recent Berlin School album on Spheric Music „Vandisphere“ received good reviews. This time he put more work into composing clever and ingenious sequences that are at the same time very captivating. This was a great inspiration for Lambert, who is also very much into sequences, to play upon Vanderson basics. Lambert, influenced by Tangerine Dream in the early 80s, added several sounds and melodies to make the 80s feeling complete (Tangerine Dream - Tangram / Pergamon). Vanderson found very good sounds to create deep and wide atmospheres as if somebody is admiring the astonishing cosmic space. Flowing sounds a la Planetary Unfoldings (Michael Stearns) lead into pulsating sequences. Maybe this is one of the most fully developed and sophisticated sequencer albums Vanderson ever released. It is a honour for Spheric Music to present this opus, featuring 4 long Berlin School tracks, on his label.
