'Indiana Drones is the first collaboration between Material Object and Phonaut. This project was recorded in November 2012 and was originally intended to be released on Pete Namlook's Fax + 49-69/450464 record label. Immediately after completing the recording I tried to get in touch with Pete which led to the tragic discovery of him having passed away. Pete Namlook / Peter Kuhlmann had an immeasurable impact on the electronic music world, as an artist and curator, as well as on my own life both as a mentor, collaborator and most importantly as a friend. Now his memory lives on through us. Each of the five parts of this project feature individual artwork comprised of photos from Pete Namlook's home town of Traben Trarbach in Germany" -Material Object

No., founded in 2014 by Atom™ & Material Object, are celebrating their first year of existence with No. I, a mix of material released between 1st May 2014 - 1st May 2015. The rather mysterious existence of No., the label which released three 12" EPs and a dozen digital albums and EPs over the past 12 months, has been summarised into their first CD release entitled "No. I". However, No. I goes further than your typical label compilation. Each of the tracks has been edited, overdubbed and mixed into one evolving soundscape, departing significantly from the originally released material and in fact creates an entirely new piece of work in itself. By carefully reworking the label catalogue into the No. I mix, both founding members, Material Object and Atom™ manage not only to show the label's aesthetic approach but to conclude their musical activities in a beautiful yet unusual manner. The 73 minute mix, featuring artists from both hemispheres of the Earth including Atom™, Jacek Sienkiewicz, NSI. (Tobias Freund & Max Loderbauer), Material Object, Raw C, Mr. Projectile and Steve Law, traverses the territories between Ambient Electronic, Techno and Abstract Industrial providing a true slice of No. label history.An original mix comprised of No. material released in Year 1 (May 2014 - May 2015). All titles have been edited and overdubbed and therefore differ from their original versions. Track 1, previously unreleased.
