Artists: Axess P: 2010 The Pyramid Peak keyboarder Axel Stupplich presents us a special jewel of electronic music: "Axess - Fusion" His previous album "Axess -Voices Of Dawn" already featured fine, dreamy-atmospherical sounds. Axess picks up this style. This time he has been inspired by astronomy, by the sun and its energy and by the night sky. In comparison to his previous album "Fusion" puts more weight on sequences. By this his new CD has turned into an excellent Berlin School album with sensitive melodies and sounds within a fantastic dreamy atmosphere. Here the last copy!
Artists: Axess P: 2018 Chill Out Beats and fine sequences embedded in a relaxing Lounge atmo. Sometimes meditative, sometimes decently surreal, dreamy hovering, spherical deep, at another time just single tones, then again floating or hypnotic with choir sounds… A warm basic atmosphere and the extraordinary sound quality make this album unique. Simplicity and tranquillity make this album very beautiful. The albums ends with a catchy earworm. A wonderful floating album which is excellent to calm down and enjoy slowness
Artists: Axess P: 2022 The 9th solo album of German composer Axel "Axess" Stupplich is another masterpiece of modern electronic music. On this album you will find a mix of ambient and chillout tunes, following the musical path of Axess which has started a few years ago with Seashore and ZEN. 9 brandnew songs with catchy melodies, deep basses, warm pads & atmospheres and hypnotic rhythms will drag you into your own mysterious universe. Open your mind and prepare yourself for a journey into space & time, looking behind the distant horizon and bringing back memories of your childhood, before you arrive at the singularity of your own being!
Artists: Axess P: 2005 Axel Stupplich is back with his third solo effort outside of Pyramid Peak, Time Traveller. As with his previous releases, the emphasis is on energetic electronics and rhythms. The title track is dance floor ready right out of the box, chugging along effusively from beginning to end. Much more relaxed is "The Uncertainty Principle," which slides into a cool groove and shuffles along quite enjoyably from there. "Cuba Libre" is another moderately paced number, again a perfect balance between the beats and the cool synth sounds. Back we head on to the dance floor with "Fly Away," even more so than the opener. A light bright synth takes on the melody nicely. A quirky little bass sound brings up "Mirror Of Illusions," a growling churning sensual piece that is a lot of fun. Male chanting lends an ethnic touch to "Pharao," one of the very few dreamy atmospheric selections to be had. Though drums and bass do eventually arrive, it continues to move slow and easy. A lot of processed spoken vocals begin "Bombay Fruit Market," then an edgy aggressive synth totally makes me think of Jean-Michel Jarre when he’s having a techno moment. The word "fun" comes to mind often throughout Time Traveller, especially here. Crank it up, then take a breather for the ethereal 15-minute "World of Secrets" at the end. 2006. Artists: Axess P: 2008 Dreamy melodic electronic music. Style: Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream. The synthesist Axel Stupplich is well known because he is a member of the very successful project „Pyramid Peak“. Using the name „Axess“ for his solo-releases, he already published the CDs „First Light“, „Chamaeleon“ and „Time Traveller“. The new album „Voices Of Dawn“ is based on the typical Pyramid Peak style. Dreamy melodic synthesizer sounds and hypnotic-pearling sequences invite the listener to drift away into a fairy-like journey. Especially EM-fans of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre (end of 70s) should enjoy this album too. Here the last copy!
Artists: Axess P: 2020 ZEN is the 8th solo album of Axess and the sequel to Seahsore. It consequently follows the musical route which has started a few years ago. The new CD starts with peaceful pads and warm harmonies which make you relaxed instantly. But don’t trust the peace for too long, already in the 2nd track you will be woken up and suddenly find yourself in a different world of deep basses and hypnotic beats. On the audio CD all 8 tracks of ZEN are combined with each other to form one single piece of musical art. Ideally it should be listened without any interruptions and with headphones it would be even more perfect to let you enter the new musical cosmos of Axess
