After SCHILLER reached number 1 in the album charts in October 2020 under his real name Christopher von Deylen with the electronic piano album “Colors”, he now went one better and released another SCHILLER album on February 12th, 2021: SUMMER IN BERLIN is called the brand new work. The limited fan edition with 2 Blu-rays was immediately sold out. Reason enough to publish this exclusive studio & home cinema Pure Deluxe Edition. In addition to the new studio album with 14 tracks and musical guests such as Alphaville, Tangerine Dream mastermind Thorsten Quaeschning and Tricia McTeague, it contains a second CD with the LIVE concert from the last SCHILLER Arena tour.
In addition to the two CDs, there are also two Blu-Rays - of course with the concert film, including the one-hour laser performance “Berlin Moscow” in Dolby Atmos and other background information. There are also three other SCHILLER icing on the cake: the streaming concert from the Lido in Berlin, huge light impressions from the drive-in concert in Mannheim and a Berlin film shot personally by SCHILLER with completely new impressions of the city. In total, the new work contains over 8 hours of SCHILLER and is available in a compact CD size digipak.

On the occasion of the 4th Edgar Froese Memorial Day (EFMD) on 26th January 2019 at the Ballhaus Rixdorf in Berlin, Bianca Froese-Acquaye invited Hans Joachim Roedelius, 85 years old electro pioneer of the first hour and co-founder of the legendary Berlin Zodiak Free Arts Lab (Zodiak Club) in 1969, the birth place of many Krautrock and electronic bands, even for Edgar Froese and his future band Tangerine Dream.
Hans-Joachim's soulful piano playing blends in fantastically with the rhythmic beats and sounds of Paul Frick, member of the Berlin based Techno ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick, who already appeared several times as guest musician at live concerts with Tangerine Dream, and the distinctive synth sounds of Thorsten Quaeschning, long-time member and musical director of Tangerine Dream. Hoshiko Yamane, also a member of Tangerine Dream since 2011, completes the session with her extraordinary violin play by adding her special timbre we all know so well from her TD sessions.
The KLANGTRAUBE is a very unique, almost meditative piece of music that invites the listener to dream. In view of the very special time in which we are all currently living in, worldwide, this piece of music reflects the spirit of the Zeitgeist very well.
A piece of music for dreaming and reflection, a sound journey into another dimension, wide and intangible, like the hearts and minds that will be opened. A dignified and extraordinary session of four exceptional musicians in memory of Edgar Froese.
