After the concert in Prague last year in may, we followed the proposal of friends to play some acoustic instruments spontaneously on top of the hill, in Troja, into a circle of stones installations.
Zithers, Tubes, Bells, Rattle and Shells, Flutes..the sessions were inspired from the special place and the spring's vibes in the wind. The recordings that are a blueprint of the spirit of that day, were edited in studio by Alio Die, then Mathias Grassow added his electronic drones to expand the point of view and enrich the flow and layers of the compositions. The result in eight tracks, show how mostly static and repetitive balanced sounds can interact with our perception during the listening time, bringing us into an active and intimate quiet mood, softly absorbing us into some dreams-like and time-opening experience.

"My first time in prague in 2007 was an outstanding event and I was impressed by the magic and history of this town.
Two years later I was invited again as a part of the project "Music & Virtues", which lives on like the magic of prague and the efforts of spiritual healing of the earth from here and many other places on earth.
I ever believed in music as a tool to heal this living organism and what's better than the universal speech of sound and music to be a part of this project ?

Veterans Rüdiger Gleisberg and Mathias Grassow, who have previously worked together in constellations such as KarmaCosmic and Nostalgia (together with Carsten Agthe), have come together again to create Ad Lucem, an album dedicated to the light and the hope for a better tomorrow. Six deep pieces carefully balancing on a slight penumbra between light and darkness.

Here is the new and long-awaited second work on the renowned swedish GTERMA label in accustomed quality : THE SEER is about the famous american medium EDGAR CAYCE(1877-1945), who in so-called "readings" made contact with other worlds in a kind of trance and seemed both prophetic and was able to make contact with the "hereafter".
He was particularly stressed by many desperate parents & partners, who especially after the 1st World War sought help from him because of the loss of their beloved......
EDGAR CAYCE was called "the sleeping prophet" because he gave his "readings" lying down and with his eyes closed.

Particularly noteworthy for us artists is his statement that "music would be the medicine of the future".

The exceptional singer Darshini, who earned a lot of attention with her mantra cd „Prema Bhava“, joined up with cosmic india trio Karmacosmic for a production well worthy to listen to.
After Karmacosmic debut „Music for Tantra & Meditation“, the three renowned musicians remained true to their distinctive style, a fancy composition of ethno- world- music and ambient & chill- out, but enriched their work with Darshinis sophisticated mantra-singings, who – being a trained yoga teacher – genuine lives spirituality.
Darshini, whose chanting emanates passion and magic affiliates her musical work with yoga techniques and meditation so that once being in this special state of consciousness, she can show herself to her chanting with all abandonment.
At last it shoudn`t be kept quiet that Karmacosmic incorporator Gleisberg, established since 15 years with symphonically coined compositions on numerous cd publishments, met Darshini in a yoga- ayurveda– ashram where the idea of a collaboration was born.

Delicate Steinway Old Lady Grand Piano impressions and subtle, air-filled drones. Mathias Grassow lays down a series of gossamer drone textures reminiscent of distant fogs - hazy, grey beds of transparent tone with shifting densities that seep into the consciousness softening the atmosphere, drenching the soundscape. These electronic formations at times recede and hang in the background allowing Bruno Sanfilippo's piano work to dominate, but in other places they well up and fill the senses becoming dense, intense, engrossing. The piano parts are achingly beautiful and melodic on some tracks - sparse, unhurried developments that seem to pour straight from the heart of the player.
There are also darker passages of finger runs looming from the relative stillness of the synths. Sometimes the ivories sink deep within the mists, reverberating gently, becoming a part of the air or are so heavily effected as to merge with the backdrop.
