As the third man at Yello, Carlos Peron threw a glimpse into the future of trance and techno at the beginning of the 80s. Even the dream music from the socket, which the Swiss tinkers with solo today, still confidently sets itself apart from the electronic junk that stirs up the dancers in some in-discotheques. Peron's "Trance True Mental" isn't as funny and unpredictably varied as the Yello sound collages, but it still has enough surprises (including sound) in store to keep you entertained for three quarters of an hour. "Le Nil Blanc" is a seductively melodic introduction, other titles are suitable for rhythmic physical gymnastics or even for respiratory therapy exercises.
