This release shows us Roos from a different side. The tracks are deep flowing with rhythms Roach uses sometimes, but also the repeating parts within rhythms remind us of Klaus Schulzes works around 1990 till 1996.

Walter Roos has entered into new worlds with his new production and his musical creations. The 6th Piece as a tribute to Klaus Schulze, does not come from nowhere. He creates soundscapes with Sequencerlines here, as also Klaus Schulze used to play. The music sounds much more harmonious, as the subject of the CD expected and it is in pieces up to 12 minutes very versatile and in very good hands. It happens a lot inside the music and the faded backgrounds, on which he is using sequencers and melodies, fit perfect.
Conclusion: A CD for all fans of Klaus Schulze and Pete Namlook. It would certainly could have been appeared on the Fax label.

Wow, what a stunning second CD release by the painter Walter Roos.
It seems, that he knows of all the styles, Electronicmusic fans and lovers desire for.
He combines them all. In pure Berlin School character, he sets up 10 Tracks, that show all we like: Sequencers, spare melodies, Mellotron backgrounds and a theme, that is all about "Fluid", like water or anything alike: drifting, flowing, underwater.
Very interesting CD, that offers a lot of different styles.

Music for the galaxy NGC 224. It is the Andromeda galaxy and the nearest galaxy for our planet. Walter Roos knows how to catch the spirit for this space flight to the galaxy. The music similar to Robert Schroeder on his galaxy Cygnus A CD.
Walter Roos also begins with fantastic sequencerpassages that fit harmoniously  into the  floating environment.

The debut CD of the painter Walter Roos is a pure space odyssey. Long atmospheric space titles remind to the surrealistic pictures he paints. Sometimes it sounds like Syndromeda, sometimes he tries something new, but every track tells a story of for example the sequenzerlove.
We expected Walter to be a very good electronic musician in the future, which he proofed with his second CD: Fluid.

Pending surfaces again and again by passing sequences and many sound effects give us another, thoroughly enjoyable work from the now well-established musician Roos.

Walter Roos creates far reaching ambient landscapes that were created by his travels, but also in his dreams. With seqeunzerparts like Klaus Schulze and a playing style reminiscent of the master by the time 1990 he pays homage to the Berlin school style in his music. Then he plays again with synth choirs, reminiscent of Harald Grosskopfs Synthesist. A great mixture of many well-known, but also new elements that have already received the Walter Roos Touch. Highly recommended.
