The debut CD of the painter Walter Roos is a pure space odyssey. Long atmospheric space titles remind to the surrealistic pictures he paints. Sometimes it sounds like Syndromeda, sometimes he tries something new, but every track tells a story of for example the sequenzerlove.
We expected Walter to be a very good electronic musician in the future, which he proofed with his second CD: Fluid.

Pending surfaces again and again by passing sequences and many sound effects give us another, thoroughly enjoyable work from the now well-established musician Roos.

Walter Roos creates far reaching ambient landscapes that were created by his travels, but also in his dreams. With seqeunzerparts like Klaus Schulze and a playing style reminiscent of the master by the time 1990 he pays homage to the Berlin school style in his music. Then he plays again with synth choirs, reminiscent of Harald Grosskopfs Synthesist. A great mixture of many well-known, but also new elements that have already received the Walter Roos Touch. Highly recommended.
