Following a direct path onwards from the three volumes of Crows-an-Wra with Ishq, within that same world but only barely, a chance in your journey to take a breath after so much ground covered, Alien is a warm morning album for sitting silently with friends smiling as last night still echoes faintly, lingering and fading equally.
Alien gently surrounds, holds you, oddly familiar, alien. Those echoes become like characters seen in the clouds of a vast sky, an echo from back when they Let The Power Fall, an echo from that last trip, echoes of itself, looping, shimmering, dreaming.

Lee Norris is a multi-talented electronic wizard from the UK, known for his various solo projects (Metamatics, Norken) and collaborations (Autumn of Communion, Ishqamatics). For this Databloem release Nacht Plank is the moniker, showcasing the edgy, glitchy side of  Lee’s Ambient Explorations. CD 1 is filled with two episodes of “Notes from an Open Window”, previously released as a uber- limited, do-it-yourself  release through Australian Twice Removed label, which sadly had to close down in 2015. This pair of  long-form Ambient Drone beauty belong to Nacht Plank’s finest Ambient works up to date. The second, 65 minute disc presents two cherry picked tracks from Nacht Plank’s rich digital archives and of which we fully believe deserve to be released on CD! The Crowbar closes with a tickling, brand new track exclusively composed for this occasion.

Nemmit Con was made in the autumn and early winter of 2017.The last track Unreadable was finished in the last days of December.
Only analog synthesizer's and step sequencers were used on this collection of tracks.
Nemmit Con is dedicated to Conrad Schnitzler Edgar Froese.

Best received on headphones and a clear, open mind....
