Artist: Oöphoi P: 2003 LTD 150 Originally this album was issued on cdr in a limited edition of 150 copies only. The album has been created in a classical Oophoi-style. Sound collages and moods remind of his early works, such as Spirals of time and Three lights at the end of the world. The music immerses the listener in autumn-winter landscapes, when nature has already fallen asleep, and winter is about to cover vivid autumn clothes with its white blanket. The ghostly female vocal in the first track sets the necessary aspect of perception at once, and after that listeners should only enjoy the different sides of autumn mood and drown into the world full of magic, peace and calmness. Artist: Optical Image P: 1994 More music in the TD style, when Chris Franke was the main musician in the group. Here the last copy of the second Optical Image release!
Artist: Otarion P: 1997 The title track 'There Shall Be Light' is a sumptuous, flowing piece of stylish EM which is totally captivating. Panoramic scenes of total beauty are conjured up, and the form continues right into the second piece 'Heaven' which demonstrates skilful use of sweeps, pads and themes. The GLJ references start to appear with 'The Seas' which picks out a simple sequence and layered theme with such delicacy that it is a delight. 'The Plants' is again simplicity personified, yet is has a sophistication which outstrips many modern releases. 'The Cosmos' again scores no points for the title, but musically it is sonic vista which hits all the right buttons. 'The Planets' builds upon a wave of sequences and turns out to be a blistering track with dramatic rhythmics backing a top notch lead motif. This album really has it all! 'The Animals' is another sequence/synth delight with piano detail, and 'The Man' kicks in with more quality riffs and beguiling synth sounds. We're back to vista valley with the final track 'The Completion' as vast symphonic and choral sounds stalk the room before sequences break free again. Here the last copy of the Manikin release!
Artist: P'Cock P: 1988 This is one of the best German Prog Rock bands with synthesizer influence. The 3 releases they made on the IC Label are compiled here with the best tracks. Influences from Yes, Genesis and others are combined with a Synthesizer style like Jarre would have played. Here the last copy.
Artist: Parks P: 2009 Utterly beautiful sad downtempo/ambient track, a masterpiece! Melodies like Ulrich Schnauss, only in slow motion. Here the last copy!
Artist: Passe Simple P: 1992 Mystic music of great passion, yet still easily accessible; gentle melodies drawing from ancient Indian music plays and inspirations; finely crafted rhythms; rich and powerfully orchestrated soundscapes over which classical trained opera voices are singing brightly; synthesized samples and rhythms totally modern and catchy, yet loaded with depth. Rewarding music and very individual, it's that simple. Passe Simple. Here the last copy!
