Artist: Richard Pinhas P: 1996 Maxi CD with different Tracks than the normal Cyborg Sally CD. Here the last copy!
Artist: Rick Wakeman P: 1999 This is continuation of Rick`s new age (or new world) ambient music saga: "Aspirant Sunrise", "Apirant Sunset" and "Aspirant Sunshadows". You would hear relaxing melodic instrumental pieces, music landscapes. Music here is like flowing of the river or cold sea breeze in hot summer day. Rick plays his favourite electronic keyboards (Korg, Kurzweil, Roland) in meditative mood. So the sound of the record traditional for Rick`s albums (it isn`t such a repetitive techno loops). In our crazy depressive agressive world the music by Rick is a kind of a cure from this depression. Some people think of new age, ambient music as of low genre... Too simple, "everybody could play like this", music for elevators etc. By the way, sometimes in elevators you could hear light classical music (Vivaldi, Mozart etc.). Not a bad company for new age ambient musicians. Wakeman got formal education and he could compose sophisticated music for symphonic orchestras. Rick once said, that book by Russian composer of the XIX century Rimskiy-Korsakov about the principles of orchesration for a long time was his favourite reading. You could believe that Wakeman could write music of highest quality in each genre. To landscapes by Rick you could return many times and each time you would find there something new. Artist: Riechmann P: 1978 This is an absolute gem of German electronic music from 1978 influenced by Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and NEU! Sequencer patterns meet synthesizer layers and simple, spherical melodies. Really "wunderbar"! Here the last copy of the original Sky Records release!
Artist: Rob Spierenburg P: 1995 This is a kind of soundtrack for the climb of the K2, the second highest mountain on Earth. Rob Spierenburg was the keyboarder of Taurus and he only produced this solo CD. Here the last copy!
Artist: Rob Spierenburg P: 1992 One day in a life. Discribed by 14 different tracks . Music in the US eastcoast relax style. Catchy melodies and a good selection of (now) vintage synthesizers. Here the last copy!
Artist: Robert Carty P: 1994 Running at just under an hour, this disc features Carty on synths, sampler, native plains flutes, shaker, & voice. On Skyhearts, Carty creates an inspirational collection of bold, atmospheric works. The pieces have an underlying Native American influence, but Carty's synths carve out a more expansive ensemble sound. He artfully merges cultural influences with new perspectives on composition. These are well composed ambient pieces, with great attention to tonal quality. Carty is one of those rare artists who carefully leaves space for the music to breathe and expand. As a composer, he chooses his timbres well. The album is a varied and evocative collection of influences and moods. Carty searches a confrontation with the sound. Through his experiences, he creates a constellation of sonic structures. Anyone into artists like Stearns, Braheny, Rich, or Vidna Obmana, should really enjoy this collection. -- Ben Kettlewell Here the last copy !
Artist: Robert Fox P: 1992 This is epic music on a grand scale that manages to surpass the works of Vangelis himself. An elaborate electronic symphony with classical elements and beautiful atmospheric, ambient traits. Written as a dedication to his late wife, this is the most beautiful musical homage. Here the last copy of the factory pressed version!
Artist: Robert Fox P: 1997 The first Robert Fox CD to feature spoken vocals, and the first after his collaborative work with Code Indigo. Robert continues to nurture his own unique style with this, his fifth solo release. Massive symphonic textures, beautiful themes and superb use of power and subtlety are the hallmarks of this excellent album. Here the last copy of the original factory pressed CD!
Artist: Robert Rich & Faryus P: 2008 Deep drone ambient textures and dense atmospheres, presented in six uninterrupted partsby Robert Rich and Faria label owner Andrey Sadovnikov. Mixed and mastered by Robert Rich. Tangential glimpses remotely echoed, untethered from touch. No time nor place, no past nor future, internal, external. Sculpting from energy, clouded motion vaguely slipping. Evanescent vibration, without meaning apart from its own open secret. Here the last copy!
Artist: Robert Rich P: 2003 Recorded live in Denver, CO, USA on July 26 2003 A live CD from an improvised concert in Denver, with all new music. The style lands somewhere close to the dark melodic sound of Trances/Drones, a continuous flow from section to section, with no rhythm. Here's a peek at the liner notes: "Heavy weather tailed me during Summer 2003, as I circled the country giving concerts. From wind storms in the desert to tornadoes in the Midwest, flooding in the East and lightning on the high plains, the sky exerted its influence. "All came into focus during this improvised house concert in Denver, a journey joined by a circle of 26 friends. A dialog between music and the elements took form like a shamanic exchange, an act of supplication in respect to stronger forces, calling down the sky to return a gift from the clouds."
