Artist: Nik Tyndall P: 1990 Lagoon was German ambient composer Nik Tyndall's first (and only) release on the Hearts of Space label in 1990. Tyndall was originally a designer of sound units and amplifiers in the 1970s, and soon after delved into composing for electronic instruments. He released several ambient albums on the German label Sky during the 1980's. Like Tyndall's other works, Lagoon is rich with layers of organic sound that evoke water, windchimes, gongs, and gamelan to create the sensation of a floating paradise. The seven tracks flow smoothly into one another, creating a soothing tropical paradise. Here the last copy!
Artist: Nik Tyndall P: 1989 More relaxed PPG Wave and PPG Waveterm sounds from Tyndall`s golden era. Here the last copy!
Artist: Nik Tyndall P: 1988 Travels through a wonderland of tone meadows. Nik Tyndall has the courage to put all else aside and reach a quietude inside himself and project this into his music: "When I make music it is for me a form of meditation than can, as long as the listener is receptive, carry over to others." Bewitching for the listener are the crystalline warm tone nuances with spacious melodic frames from which flow a comfort peacefulness out. Here the last copy!
Artist: Nik Tyndall P: 1995 This is the single CD from the 7 CD set of Bernd Kistenmacher Intemporelle Musique label. It was Nik Tyndall's contribution to the nice box. The CD is a CD-ROM, prepared with 9 tracks and an additional PC data track, with more background information about Nik Tyndall (at the time of appearance of the CD 1995). The music is typical Tyndall and it feels like in the tropical house of a zoo. Pieces that carry the listener away with floating ambient backgrounds. In addition, a playable demo of the PC game Bolo is included, for which he composed the music. Here are the last copies!
Artist: Nik Tyndall P: 1987 / 1990 Musik Zur Entspannung IV is the subtitle, this is the re-release of the vinyl from 1987 and the Sky Records CD from 1990. Relaxed music played on the PPG System. Here the last copy of the original Sky Records version!
Artist: Klaus Wiese P: 1994 The members of Nono-Orchestra use what appear to be enormous sections of sheet metal formed into resonant instruments which make pluritimbral vibrations and layers of very low frequencies noise. This is very different than other deep noise projects. Often electronic artists create low noise using electronics and feedback but the sound here are formed much in the same principle of acoustic music. Various members of this quartet actually employ bows to create the vibrations of the metal in much the same way that a string musician would play his instrument. The result is an original and audibly vibrant low noise experience. Very textured, fascinating. Here the last copy!
