Artist: Alpha Wave Movement P: 2005 / 2008 All music conceived & created by Gregory Kyryluk 2005 except for Track 7 recorded 2008 Music on this cd was originally conceived for a limited pressed DVD also titled "Terra". The music on Terra was at the time exclusive to the DVD, however I believe this limited the exposure to many eager listeners. Here now is the entire soundtrack from the DVD with the inclusion of a bonus track Terra Infinitus which was composed to compliment the spacious imagery on the DVD. Expansive, atmospheric, melodic ambient electronica. Terra is a delicate album of graceful synth music that features elegant piano lines, bright wispy electro chimes, bowl-like phrases and broad tonal swells as the main voices, supported by fine washes and twinkling textures. Synthetic strings keen and swell, fine gossamer threads and films of sound run one into another whilst melodic arpeggios and meandering scales wander over the surface. The depth and intensity of the music ranges from silken stratospheric strains and airstreams to crepuscular drone banks and glimmering twilight ripples. In places simple bass phrases pulse indolently beneath the gently heaving liquid of the drones and breezy sequential structures, but not for long - much of the music too skyward looking and gliding to be bound and grounded by such low frequencies. The strictly electronic sonic sources for Terra make for a clean, spacious sound that suggests the clarity and tranquillity of dawn, the subtle shifting hues of early evening. Alpha Wave Movement builds tracks around digital synthesizers and MIDI equipment influenced by natural landscapes and scenic photography - here, more than ever I've felt that connection with the earth from Gregory's compositions. A sense of comfortable solitude pervades much of the album, almost plaintive in places, but more generally reflective, calm - enjoying the mental vistas conjured up by this delightfully understated soundscaping. Artist: Alquimia + Roedelius P: 1999 Here the CD-single Version. This album is the meeting between Hans-Joachim Roedelius, German pioneer of the electronic avant garde, and Alquimia, a versatile Mexican artist who has explored the possibilities of synthesizers as well as those of her voice in various innovative projects. This unusual collaboration between them both has resulted in a likewise remarkable CD. There are melodic passages of a great emotional strength, which could be defined as a fusion of Atmospheric Pop and World Music. And among them both, others of a mysterious, even dreary character coexist, with a slow development and a structure ranging from Ambient to mystic ritual music. Alquimia's voice, which she herself processes electronically in various ways, turns out to be unearthly at times, and very much earthly in other occasions, perfectly fitting with the electronic textures and exotic atmospheres. Artist: Amir Baghiri P: 2001 LTD 500 The first pieces and ideas of this music were born in 1996, but have remained in Amir’s mind all that time, until it was time to finish this special project. The subject "Rooms" is put in three dimensions, and even heads for a philosophical point of view while listening. "Rooms" is some absolute ambient music the listener should absorb. It is a very sophisticated production, featuring an outstanding collection of high-quality ambient that should be suitable for all those who want to take a further step into the deep.... Artist: Amir Baghiri P: 1998 Gradually drifts from light sequencer pieces to quieter, ambient sound-worlds. A mixture of Roach/ Rich tribalisms and gorgeous shapelessness. Here the last copy of the first Arya Label Version!
Artist: Andreas Leifeld P: 1992 This Cd was also released on Bernd Kistenmachers label and shows some more electronic titles with a little soundtrack character. Nice tunes. Here the last copy!
Artist: Andreas Leifeld P: 1991 Futuristic in conception and execution, this album still harkens back to the sequencer-driven sound of the German electronic school. Yet unlike Tangerine Dream, Leifeld has managed to add rock and pop influences without losing his progressive edge. His two-part suite "African Dreams" delves into the techno-tribal realm. He also adds some amusing political cynicism on the final selection, "Same Old Game," by layering recorded voice fragments of George Bush's most banal catchphrases over combat sounds and a brooding, almost sinister electronic score. Artist: Andreas Leifeld P: 1990 These are nice synthesizertracks, first released on Bernd Kistenmachers Musique Intemporelle label way back in 1990. The music shows the different styles and talents of Leifeld on a very versatile CD with tracks, that have a little eastern influence. Here the last copy!
Artist: Andreas Leifeld P: 1993 Catchy, rhythmic tracks. Here the last copy!
Artist: Andy Pickford P: 1995 It contains over an hour's worth of remarkable and evocative electronica music listening, and remains one of the most important albums to modern electronic music and its subgenres ever released. Here the last copy!
Artist: Andy Pickford P: 1993 One of the best electronic CDs ever. This is the debut from Pickford and he composes tracks in the Blade Runner style with his own melodies and rhythms. Very catchy and brilliant. Here the last copy!
