Artist: Conrad Schnitzler P: 2025 LTD150 Like all concerts by CON, this one is unpredictable and always captivatingly beautiful. A masterfully crafted mix of four solo works, all located in close proximity to the RR album itself. There are few such works in the entire discography, and most of them are included in our top 100.
Artist: Conrad Schnitzler P: 2025 LTD150 'Memory' is a saturated, multifaceted poem, a work of sound art set against a backdrop of shimmering cosmic space. It is a sonic excursion into memory, reflecting both the light and the darkness of our consciousness. Moving forward and transcending many boundaries, CON remains true to the mood established at the very beginning of this 60-minute cinematic work.
Artist: P'Faun P: 2025 In early February 2023, the members of P'Faun gathered at guitarist Sammy David's studio near Marburg to work on new music. The aim was to record improvised jams based on spontaneity and immediate communication, as improvisation had always been one of the trio's strengths. The result was ten extended space rock journeys full of energy and inventiveness, each with its own story to tell. After recording, the band let the material rest for a while, only to return to it with fresh ears in the spring of 2025. Apart from some cosmetic surgery here and there, the sessions have remained in their original form, as they thrive on the development of ideas and the flow of the music. No smoothly ironed-out production according to the cookbook, but living, panting, sweating jams full of corners, edges and surprising twists, somewhere in the imaginary intersection of Pink Floyd, Klaus Schulze, Hawkwind and Nektar... The 3 musicians combine all what you expect from electronic space-rock.
Artist: Brückner P: 2025 Sometimes the world seems like a very cold place, all dark and our soul feels frozen with worry and fear, but even in deepest winter there are bright sunny days, sending us an inkling of the return of a fuller and more happy life - and this is what this album is about...
Artist: Brückner P: 2007 / 2025 From time to time, I delve into my archive of unfinished projects — musical sketches and collaborations that, for one reason or another, were left dormant on a hard drive years ago. Some are promising albums that never quite found their final shape; others are joint ventures that stalled before reaching completion. For this particular album, I have revisited two such projects — both dating back to 2007 — approaching the material with a fresh ear and renewed inspiration. In the process, I began adding new elements, which in turn sparked the creation of entirely new pieces. The result is a compelling symbiosis of old and new ideas: a seamless blend that traverses a range of electronic styles — from ambient and Berlin School to chill-out, IDM and more experimental textures. Yet, throughout, the album remains unified by a shared aesthetic vision and a vivid sense of musical journey — one that moves fluidly through shifting colours, tones and timbres.

Artist: Krzysztof Duda P: 2008 It's nice to hear something retro every now and then. Krzysztof Duda, one of the Polish pioneers of electronic music, returns to the musical realms of the 1980s with his 2008 album Chillout Energetic Avenue. A fan of the melodic variety of the genre, on Chillout? the composer presents 13 dance themes encapsulated in short, compact, and analog compositions. Some of them would be perfect for a dance party. For example, Regular People and Remember the Time are elegant, song-inflected compositions that have a touch of the spirit of Andrzej Zaucha's "Bąś serca bijam" (You Were Heart Beating) or Kombi's "Memories from the Plein Air." For more energetic tracks, Krzysztof Duda also ventured into the techno style "Energetic Avenue." Some themes evoke the dynamic motifs of the soundtrack to the film "Football Poker" (Life is Life, Industrial Society, Energy, Close to Traffic). Chillout Energetic Avenue has a certain charm, but overall it's an average album. Krzysztof Duda presents a few interesting moments that are catchy and even enjoyable to listen to, but only for a short while.
Artist: Krzysztof Duda P: 2016 Krzysztof Duda is the eminence grise of Polish electronic music. In his explorations, he also explored the rarely visited territories of sacred music. In the 1980s, his music was featured on the popular science program Sonda. In 2012, he shifted towards Berlin electronica. The album Chillout City Lights Zone was recorded slightly earlier, in 2008. Despite the title, Krzysztof Duda doesn't get bogged down in the depths of ambient monotony; rather, he has different ideas for chillout electronica. He often looks back to extract fragments of individual styles and build his own sound world based on them. Thus, we have fragments of café atmospheres akin to the work of Wanda Warska. Duda's dynamic world is full of strained references to jazz rock, funky, and fusion. It turns out that at Chillout City Lights Zone, there are the fewest static landscapes and the most lively and pulsating audio sphere.

Artists: Double Fantasy P: 1986 / 1990 Double Fantasy was formed in the summer of 1985 by Dreamstar (aka Robert Schroeder). The idea to Double Fantasy developed out of a relaxed studio session atmosphere, where the trying out of various new sounds and melodies created a fresh kind of beautiful Electronic Music, pictures of some laid back moments. The result is timeless Fantasy Music to dream and relax with. Universal Ave. is the first and only album from Schroeder's Original Double Fantasy. Musically describing the human search for new worlds, travelling through the endless space of the universe. A SciFi story that begins when our planets life is coming to an end. Double Fantasy were able to create a very special sound and mood for this excellent produced CD. Refreshing synthesizer music, a musical summer breeze, caressing softly a balmy palm beach of a far, far yet to discover coast. The listener glides softly into a different world, be it through the romantic and moody title Heartbreaker, the relaxed Endless Running or erotic Food For Fantasy. The warm sound creations, interspersed with beautiful, spheric guitar is welcome company on the endless voyage through spaces as well as for the more earthly travels to the worlds of fantasy and meditation. The album was recorded, mixed and produced by Robert Schroeder, who as a successful solo artist has already several well known LPs/CDs to his credit. Artist: Jean Michel Jarre P: 1991 This compilation spans across 7 studio albums and 1 live recording made during the period of 1976-1991. Obviously, it's next to impossible to pick a dozen of "best of" tracks from that much material, so that everyone would agree upon the choice. However, "Images" does a nearly perfect job of giving a taste of each of Jarre's albums made in the first 15 years of his working, presenting a couple of tracks off each of them. As such, it is a good place to start getting into Jarre's music, and a good compilation to choose which album is worth buying. Jarre's music is normally meant to be listened to for the duration of the whole album. This fact shows these individual pieces' compositional strength, as they stand quite good on their own, being separated from their respective album's concept. With its drawbacks, "Images" is a very good compilation. If you're hesitant where to start with Jean-Michel Jarre, you are advised to buy it.
Artist: Tomita P: 1984 Electronic interpretations of works by various classical composers including Villa-Lobos, Albinoni, Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Pachelbel.
