Here the versatile musician, composer and producer can be heard together with international guest stars such as former Genesis-guitarist Steve Hackett and a bunch of notables from Austria’s music scene such as Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer oder Andy Baum. Gandalfs unique style, which combines a variety of acoustic instruments (guitar, sitar, saz, charango, bouzouki, piano, balaphon, bells & percussion) with spheric keyboard sounds, and interweaves folky melodies with powerful orchestra arrangements, was congenially brought to life during this historic evening by the illustrous cast of guest musicians and Gandalfs own ten-piece band.
The Live-CD comes together with a DVD, which does not only show the concert from Etablissement Ronacher but also a concert at Zell am See from July 2000 and various extra features, such as an in-depth interview with Gandalf himself. Both concert films are real rarities, or as Gandalf himself puts it: „Documents of a unique gathering of musicians and of magic musical moments.“

This is a very smooth, melodic album, suitable for healing, relaxation, and even physical chi exercises. Keyboard, synthesizer, and flute sounds create a rich, soothing musical texture that leaves one feeling pleasant and content. This music can be used for many purposes and should be suitable for many tastes. The first track and the 5th track, and the ambience of the Far East on the closing track makes a nice tribute to the roots of Reiki healing.
