When I played my first concert at Zeiss Planetarium Bochum in February 2009, the feedback from the audience and guests was more than positive. So, I of course accepted the invitation of Planetarium Bochum and the host schallwende e.V. for the year-end concert 2010. Only having short preparation time in 2009, I already knew the date for this year’s concert in summer 2010. Highly motivated I produced the music for this concert with the title “HELLO 2011” during the last months and the project “Cosmologica” developed. This title can be regarded as homage to my albums “Cosmoclimax” and “Teralogica”. And that on purpose: “Cosmologica” is supposed to continue the naïve-coltish ideas of my debut album and moreover owns the elegant and mature moonbooter-sound of the latest albums. Furthermore, “Cosmologica” should fit into the well known fantastic Planetarium-atmosphere without denying my rhythm-oriented sound. I refused all my knowledge about Space Music, as pure spheres and flats were not my intention. Something should happen. Music should be heard, felt and experienced. That already worked with “Cosmoclimax”. No rules. I was only inspired by my imagination of what I wanted to listen to underneath the starry sky. Scientific and partly philosophic lecture about quasars, the interstellar medium, black holes and much more from more than 200 episodes of “Alpha Centauri” helped in a way. So, I spent some summer nights outside observing the sky to sketch musical ideas instantly. That was fun which also reflects in the music. I automatically used more acoustic instruments and played even the guitar parts myself. Together with electronic sounds a symbiosis had been created in which both worlds cannot be differentiated. These differences have been continued consequently with partly melancholic but also humorous melodies. “Cosmologica” became a captivating space album, which convinces musically and sound-technically.

With the new album Cosmoromantics moonbooter continues his well-known Cosmo-serial. Following the last two releases Zeitenwende and Still Alive the electronic musician from the Eifel applies himself to cosmic themes for the fourth time. With Cosmoromantics he has his sight especially on the history of the Russian cosmonautics. In more than 70 minutes moonbooter abducts the audience into his own soundscapes and as usual puts well incorporated rhythmic spots in place. Overall natural sounds appear fewer, electronic sounds dominate the event. One romantic note runs like a common thread through the complete concept album. Thereby Cosmoromantics is kept together by classical and also modern sequences. Moonbooter masters this symbiosis more than almost anybody else. Again, Cosmoromantics sounds fantastic, great and wide. Wellness for your ears.

Cosmoronantics is a potpourri electronic album, which uses the complete range of colours. Once loud and dominant, once cautious and silent, but always most entertaining. And this even after the umpteenth replay.

„It’s high time to return to my roots, the danceable, electonical music. In the beginning I had no precise concept in mind but it developed independently over the years.” moonbooter’s second album is therefore dominated by old analogue-synths, vocoders, aprs and electronical FX-sounds. Bernd skilfully combines the worlds of NewAge and EM with currently danceable elements. “I had a lot of fun playing with these contrasts, to combine various combinations and to experience the results.” “Devided” is made for those who enjoy listening to modern EM apart from ambient including some more beats.

"fast reflections" is a sequel of my album "faster" from 2008. My second passion behind making challenging electronic music is producing intelligent dancemusic and the joy of remixing songs.So I again compiled the danceable, unreleased dance-tracks + some remixes + liveversions from my last concerts on this release. Some of the trax on "fast reflections" like "desire for more" or "Where do You sleep tonight?" were on top of several underground dance charts over weeks. I am proud that I, born in 1971, can still inspire young people to dance to my music. The trax on "fast reflections" are not only produced for the dancefloor. After the production-period of a new album is finished, usually some tracks remain that either do not quite fit into the concept, are surplus or just emerged from some special mood. Those are mainly fast and danceable Club-Tracks, which, same as EM, are a part of my musical roots. In the last years I collected many of those songs, of which some achieved remarkable success in diverse dance charts and which have been played frequently on Sunshine-Live and other Dance-Radios. Requests for an official release of those tracks reached me time and again, and as some bootlegs were already on their way, I decided on the spot to unite the best tracks on this 77-minutes-album. So, “Faster” is no album for silent moments, but music to dance to and simply for fun. Not more, but also not less…
