nEW fREQUENCIES is a new studio project of Robert Schroeder, that, exactly like his D.M.O publications, is a planned release as a series.
Now, Robert Schroeder offers a new series project that is the result of passionate studio work with PC and keyboard. nEW fREQUENCIES is Schroeder’s 10th album release and supplies something other music, than no one knows or expects from Robert. The music prefers particularly analogue sounds and is sequencer based, it is however, also more rhythmic and with higher BPM values. This „spicy” electronic music, Schroeder would like to publish in the future, additionally as his own series, within his regular solo productions.
nEW fREQUENCIES Vol.1 offers electronic sounds of the newest generation. On this album you can find danceable tracks and also experimental and spherical tracks. Voice samples and galactic soundscapes round the overall view to a postmodern music produc-tion. A specified studio project, that is different in composition and production sound to the standard. Whoever likes Cafe Del Mar, Massive Attack or Faithless, will also like nEW fREQUENCIES. nEW fREQUENCIES extends horizon and blood veins and is music for clubs, discos and at home - for dancing, chill out and enjoyment … much pleasure.

Space effects glide over into vocoder-like voices that plunge into echo chambers, the drums kick in and the music picks up speed. To drift away! Mystical passages lead into dreamy sequencer runs and are accentuated with drums and given even more depth with the choral pads. The entire album is a great sound experience for a marvellous dream journey to drift away into other spheres. Also recommended for Klaus Schulze fans.

PARADISE (1983), the fifth solo LP of the German artist, showed clearly that Robert Schroeder has other thoughts about an "other kind of electronic music" seemed to come along. The music of his publications changed constantly. In addition Robert even: "A growing musician goes through a constant development, he has to find himself. However, besides, clear recognition times, peculiarities of the artist continue, from the outset and harden more and more to that what corresponds to the artist. He is found". PARADISE is different, but typical and unmistakeably Robert Schroeder. This new CD-R Version has also a new Bonustrack.

Re-Release (remastered) with bonus tracks!
The original album PARADISE was the fifth Schroeder release on the IC label in 1983.
Out of stock for years this album was a rare item until today. At that time Robert was at his most successful phase of his career.
He created an album with the typical synthesizer sound of the 80s which is one of his best releases ever.
On this re-release the tracks from the 80s are presented in brilliant sound quality with 2 great bonus titles.

Schroeder returned somewhat to a more ambient sound, with lush, digital landscapes that sound nothing like the photograph on the cover and more like a spaceship grinding it's way through the universe from a William Gibson novel in alpha state. Almost gone are the drums and drum machines, and the leads are often blended more fully into the mix than before. There's a lot of digital filter sweeps here that grow old and put the CD in it's era, giving it a dated sound at times, but there is also some thick, powerful pads that give the CD a rich feel to it and nothing like this really existed at the time. Out of all of Robert's CDs, this (and ironically, Harmonic Ascendent) hold up best over the years. If I were to recommend one CD of his, it would be either this, HA, or Computer Voice.
This is the new version on the IC Label, without the wrong tracks.
