Pluta, Jürgen

Pluta, Jürgen

German keyboardist and bass guitarist. He started with the band Prosper, but came to wider attention as the bassist in the mid-1970's transitional incarnation of Wallenstein. He later surprised with an album of up-tempo synthesizer music, featuring classical motifs and a hint of Jean Michel Jarre. He then went on to form his own synth-rock trio Pluta Connection.

Jürgen Pluta - Blanche

Artist: Jürgen Pluta
P: 1980 / 2025
With Blanche, Jürgen Pluta's electronic solo debut is being released digitally and on CD for the first time - 45 years after its original release.
The former bassist of Wallenstein, Streetmark and Embryo recorded the album in 1979 at Procom Studio Kirchhellen, supported by Rolf Eggemann (drums) and Fritz Frey (guitar). Pluta, influenced by his collaboration with Harald Großkopf (Ashra Tempel, Wallenstein), developed his own sound language between Krautrock, synthesizer experimentation and atmospheric electronics. Blanche combines analog warmth with futuristic vision - a work that moves stylistically between cosmic music, early ambient and progressive electronics.
The CD has been remastered by Eroc and contains an exclusive remix of the track "Voyage" by Harald Großkopf as a bonus. A fascinating contemporary document from the transitional phase between Krautrock and electronic avant-garde.
