Right at the start Martha Rabbit show her qualities in the 11-minute title song, which can impress with its intense atmosphere and melodic parts. You can always tell that they were influenced by Tangerine Dream, but they are far from sounding like a pure clone, because they have developed their own sound over the years. They proceed as usual, mix melodic parts with sound sculptures and present both worn, quiet parts as well as upbeat, sequencer-emphasized arrangements (as on 'MBC Voyager'). And this works both in short tracks, as well as in the longest track, the 16-minute ‘Somnolent’, which closes an album that is recommended to friends of electronic music with a clear conscience. And don't forget: “Thursday is Martha”.

With the new and meanwhile 5th album "Phonolith" Michael Allert and Wolfgang Rohdenburg aka Martha Rabbit achieved another highlight, which was seamlessly linked to the successful previous albums "Zodiaklicht" and "Dysnomia". All titles shine through interesting sequencing and quality sounds. There are tribal-like drum grooves in the opener "Uranus freeway", herbaceous influences on "Lady of the second moon", Martha Rabbit typical hooklines like in "Interstellar visitor" or classic Martha Rabbit songs like the rhythmic title track and the spherical and final "Kruger" 60 ".

Very versatile electronic music with a great room-filling sound and rhythms. Partial spacey breathed . Sequenzerpassages reminiscent of TD -80s . Catchy , fast, correct!
