Artist: Bernd-Michael Land P: 2026 Electronic composer Bernd-Michael Land has released a new album, "JUICE" (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer). The music is based on scientific data from the JUICE mission, interpreting it as an electronic sound expedition. Instead of using existing samples, Land employs creative sonification: planetary measurements control musical parameters such as tempo, stereo imaging, and pitch. Predominantly analog synthesizers generate sound structures that make processes like magnetic fields, plasma waves, and atmospheric changes in the Jupiter system audible. The album deliberately unfolds slowly and atmospherically—inspired by the mission's long journey through the outer solar system.
