This album is quite the sonic journey. A lot of darker, cold tracks (some even with some louder drum beats) mixed with spacey ambient. On later albums Solar Fields usually find one focused sound and stick to it, here they try a lot of ideas (while maintaining a concise atmosphere) and it works in the album’s favor.
