In many cultures, the temple is the central building and characterizes a settlement. In addition to the religious significance of the temple, it is also a place of contemplation and meditation. For Europeans, the Japanese temples with their rock gardens are mystical places that hold many secrets. In their program "The Pilgrim of the mysterious 99 Temples", Bernd-Michael Land and Hans-Dieter Schmidt want to take you into this unknown world.
