After a series of excavations from the 80s, this time we return to a slightly later period, to 1997, the period between the classically electronic Sapphire Chimera and the thuds of Zeta Reticuli IV. Psychozoic era is another gem in Komendar's collection of extraordinary titles, and musically it is first a spatial, slightly nostalgic ambient in the style of Pyramid from Flying Doll, which in the second part changes into light pulsations. It gets much more dynamic in the title Space of Pure Energy, where Maestro gives us a spirited solo and his own vocalizations processed by a vocoder. Epigones-alt is a very interesting and unusual piece for Gudonis, because the sounds of cosmic electronics are complemented here by the intriguing viola - it is so vividly reminiscent of Klaus Schulze's "musical conversations" with Wolfgang Tiepold on the albums X or Audentity.
