This release by the well-known trio Bas Broekhuis, Detled Keller and Mario Schönwälder is a double live album, which sees the musicians play with Raughi Ebert (electric and acoustic guitar) and Thomas Kagermann (violin) during a concert on January 20th 2008 at the Dorfkirche Repelen.
The second disc comprises five tracks recorded at concerts at the same location in January 2006 and 2007, plus a recording of a rehearsal of the complete band.
This release from 2008 features 146 minutes of gripping electronic music.
Disc 1 was recorded live at Dorfkirche Repelen on January 20, 2008. Disc 2 features live and rehearsal tracks from performances at Dorfkirche Repelen in 2006 to 2007.
Joining Bas Broekhuis, Detlef Keller and Mario Schönwälder are Raughi Ebert (on guitar) and Thomas Kagermann (on violin).
This release adds lively guitar and energized violin to the percussion-enhanced pastiche of layered electronics, resulting in tuneage that is as vigorous as it is dreamy. Twinkling electronics generate a spacey foundation of undulant passages with streaming harmonics of noble character.

One step after the other – that is how we are moving on in life. That famous"first step" is often the most difficult one – but also the most important one. To take it, you definitely need some courage and also an idea what direction it is to lead you to. our steps leave a number of different footprints on the ground we are walking on, traces on our lives and on the lives of others. Each step, each trace is unique – just like the people leaving such traces.
The 16 quite different compositions on this cd are meant to be musical steps leading towards harmony. Because harmony is very important to me in my life. For some of you it may be possible to follow my steps to find harmony for a while. I wish my compositions could leave some traces – just like footprints in the sand!

One night this artist was playing his synthesizer and the recorder was running, as suddenly a track was born, like from “nothing”. And this track was longing for company, so quickly it was obvious, an album was at the start. Right from the beginning the album title was without doubt “Aus dem Nichts”, which means “out of nothing” as this was exactly, what happened.
During an Electronic Festival the artist met SynGate and both came to an agreement to release this album as an incognito subject.
The album refers to life as a cycle in the universe. Coming from “nothing” it ends in an unknown future. This is, what three tracks stand for:
