Paul Horn is a great artist, born 1930 in the USA. He is a New Age but also a Jazz-Musician, teacher, traveler, father and… he is just human like all of us. He burns, he cools, he’s young, he’s old. But, from the start, he found his voice. He uses his instrument to open a window for us to see through his eyes and hear with his heart. His many releases has made him well known all over the world.

Thirty years later the haunting flute and voice continues to provoke and inspire me; the original stimulant to my later travels around the world. Long before the age of new age, environmental awareness, Peter Gabriel and world beats there was 'Inside'. God bless you Paul Horn.

There is no acoustic quite like the taj mahal, the ethereally long and uniform reverb is a treat for the ears and the psyche. the bass flute especially is almost overpoweringly haunting in this acoustic environment, a great track to meditate to when played on a continuous loop. well-recommended.
