Whereas his last album “Torodial Sequences” was dominated by experimental, meditative moments, with his new album the musician shows a slightly different side: “Calbleworld” is full of catchy melodies at a high level using sounds from past and present. Elegant guitar-soli are skilfully combined with dreamy sequences. Nies even adventures a short trip to the world of 4tothefloor in his own manner. “Cableworld” is full of music, which does not follow a fixed scheme but whose catchy grooves invite the audition to daydreams. Moreover, the theme of the album “Calbleworld” can be found in the music immediately which makes the album, a real insiders’ tip.
