Robert Schroeder - Relaxesizer

Artist: Robert Schroeder
P: 2025
Robert Schroeder's new album is called Relaxesizer and, of course, offers the ideal foundation for extended relaxation.
The album title is plausible: relaxing music recorded with a synthesizer, in other words, Relaxesizer. In any case, the Klaus Schulze protégé has been familiar with highly relaxing compositions since 1979 and, even with his 48th solo album, can still offer imaginative and exceptional spherical electronic music.

On this album, Robert has compiled and applied the essence, the sum of his musical experiences and development. With Relaxesizer, he has clearly undergone a musical transformation, a maturation of his development. The result is this album, well worth listening to.

Bioscope (Rothery + Quaeschning) - Gento (CD + Blu Ray)
Artist: Steve Rothery + Thorsten Quaeschning
P: 2025
Bioscope is the highly anticipated collaborative project from guitar maestro Steve Rothery, founding member of Marillion, who has sold millions of albums worldwide and helped define the sound of progressive rock with chart-topping records — and from electronic visionary Thorsten Quaeschning, musical director of Tangerine Dream, credited on over 100 album releases and known for his acclaimed work on major film and game soundtracks. The word ‘Bioscope’ comes from the Greek ‘bios’ meaning life and ‘skopeein’ meaning to look; prior to the invention of cinema, it meant ‘a view or survey of life’. And that’s what Bioscope is about. The first album to emerge from this project is called Gentō, named after the Japanese term for “magic lantern”, a still-image projection system. It started life in early 2020 and after several five-day trips to Berlin over the years, and a few days in Steve Rothery’s home studio, it was finally ready to be mixed and mastered. Each of the five instrumental tracks takes it’s inspiration from man's endearing fascination with the moving image. They weave together Rothery’s emotive, melodic guitar work with Quaeschning’s expansive soundscapes, creating a mesmerizing journey through light and darkness, memory and imagination, featuring an amazing performance by Elbow’s drummer Alex Reeves. With soaring guitar solos that evoke classic progressive rock to hypnotic sequencer-driven passages reminiscent of Berlin School electronica, the album flows like a soundtrack to an unmade film.
Each of the five instrumental tracks is inspired by man's fascination with the moving image. The music ranges from impressive guitar sounds reminiscent of classic progressive rock to rhythmic sequencer passages in the style of the Berlin School. The CD+Blu-ray digipack contains the complete album on CD as well as high-resolution audio formats on Blu-ray:
- Full album with visuals in PCM Stereo, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 (48kHz / 24bit)

Conrad Schnitzler - Ultimate Box (6CD)

Artist: Conrad Schnitzler
P: 2025

Limited edition of 100
This selection of works was originally made by Conrad Schnitzler himself in 2008 for a 100 CD boxset edition planned to be released.
Any universe is infinite and these 100 works are only guides to its central points, allowing you to simultaneously orient yourself and feel lost in its limitlessness. And it was Conrad himself who placed these points where refractions occur and where they have maximum glow. This selection of works creates a vast sound mass suspended in a timeless stasis.
Conrad’s music, being as close as possible to improvisation, often raises the question of what is more important here: regulation and control or random positioning of electroacoustic signals. These 100 hours of electronic symphonies, written between 1990 and 2009, represent a long journey through soundscapes where the listener meets something new while also reflecting on the past.
Factory-pressed CD in matte-finished digipak, limited to 100 copies.
