Winterplanet is an intimate aural excursion into solitude, tranquility, remoteness and melancholy, a seasonal time-travel through a genuine Nordic winter landscape, inherently influenced by the subarctic conditions of the forests and lakes of Finland. The sharp seasonal changes and the twilight of arctic winter affects most people both emotionally and physically. Winterplanet is a sonic interpretation of these rapids shifts in temperature, light and moods. Compared to US artists influenced by natural surroundings, such as Steve Roach and Robert Rich.
