Artist: Harald Grosskopf + Han Ümit P: 2025 Harald Großkopf is a living legend of progressive Krautrock and electronic music, known far beyond Germany's borders. His career now spans more than five decades, beginning with the progressive German Krautrock band Wallenstein, working with Klaus Schulze and Manuel Göttsching, and releasing his seminal solo work "Synthesist" (1980, Sky Records), all the way to his major successes at live concerts, sometimes in front of audiences of more than 30,000, such as at the Metamorphose Festival in 2008 (Japan) or, most recently, at the Plain District Festivals in Beijing and Xi'an (China) in 2024. Harald Großkopf's music has inspired DJs, producers, and artists all over the world, including the Cologne-based DJ, composer, and sound artist Ümit Han. A cross-generational collaboration between the two took place in recent months. The result: the longplayer "Magnetfeld", for Harald Großkopf a further chapter in his impressive career, for the techno musician Ümit Han a step into new musical spheres, for the listener a new encounter of the electronic kind.
