PERFECT EARTH is a Band, a Project Name and a Progressive Rock Concept Album performed & produced by a UK based keyboards / synthesizer composer / musician and a band of worldwide session players! The work is the first in a trilogy of releases that has been assembled by Mark Jenkins, an artist probably better known for his work in the Electronic Music genre, but PERFECT EARTH definitely adds another powerful string to his bow. From project players that set high band performance standards throughout and featuring a group of top-drawer vocalists, this album tells the story of five rebels escaping the time prison of future despotic rulers, the Apocalypse Kings … Lictor - The Reformed Punisher (lead guitar / vocals) Xenophon - The Philosopher (keyboards / guitars / vocals) Athena - The Ninja Spy (keyboards / cello / vocals) Pagliacci - The Eternal Clown (bass / vocals) Roboto - The Cyborg Scientist (drums / electronic percussion / vocals) Each character takes a song and there are two ensemble pieces and an instrumental work. As for the style? Well… try to imagine an entire Prog rock festival featuring PINK FLOYD, early YES (with Rick Wakeman), AYREON, SUPERTAMP, DREAM THEATER, SAGA, MOSTLY AUTUMN and The ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, with special guests RAMMSTEIN ...and you're part of the way there! ‘Perfect Earth’ is by turns exciting, melodic, empowering, melancholy and triumphant. The playing is excellent, as are all the vocals … always a welcome bonus in the Progressive Rock genre!

Artist: Various Artists P: 2026 The current CD, "Keep On Dreaming," presents tracks by French and German musicians who keep the spirit of Tangerine Dream alive. As you can hear, each musician has found their own way to express themselves with synthesizers, sequencers, and electronic sound generators. What unites them all is their fascination with Tangerine Dream. Just like Tangerine Dream, all the participating musicians create their own dream world: "Keep On Dreaming." It is a particular honor that Johannes Schmoelling, a former member of Tangerine Dream, has contributed a special track to the compilation CD. Johannes Schmoelling explains: "Since my participation in 'Synthfest France' in 2017, the encounters I had with French musicians back then have developed into genuine friendships that continue to this day. A musical collaboration like this CD is therefore only logical. I am all the more pleased that this project is dedicated to the band Tangerine Dream, as I was a member of this band for many years." The CD will be released at Synth Fest in Nantes in April 2026. Further information about the musicians can be found inside the booklet. Keep On Dreaming is a treat for all sequencer enthusiasts.
