"Skies and Stars" is my "soundtrack for skywatching" album. This is the first album I've done since my "The Light Beyond" album in 2001 to feature nothing but music in my "space guitar" style.
The music on "Skies and Stars" came from many nights of long music improvisations while watching the stars slowly appear in the sky. The album features two long-form pieces, and closes with a shorter piece dedicated to my daughters.
"Skies and Stars" was mastered by Tom Eaton.

The extended version of "Slowly Falling" from my 2021 EP "In Winter".
Of anything I’ve released lately, I received a lot of feedback about “Slowly Falling”- with most of the feedback being “I would have loved this to be longer!”. Because of how I recorded the track, and the software looper I used, it was easy to click a button and “hear what happens”. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised by what happened; I found myself drawn to points past the original ending, and heard what this “new” listening experience was saying. I knew immediately that I wanted to save this special piece for the end of 2021.
