Alquimia, the Mexican-born female singer and composer nowadays based in London, has with her own albums  as well as with her collaborations with Prudence-labelmates Zinkl, Roedelius and Peter Mergener set remarkable, sometimes quite experimental accents in our catalogue. For „Garden Of Dreams“ the highly productive artist has teamed up with one of the finest spirits among the Prudence artists: Together with Rüdiger Gleisberg, whose electronic music is strongly influenced by the European symphonic tradition, Alquimia has created eleven lovely songs. Her poetic lyrics and sometimes tenderly-melancholic, sometimes dreamily-cheerful melodies are surrounded by the sonic beauty of Gleisbergs artfully orchestrated immpressionistic and romantic sounds. For both musicians this album means quite an artistic departure, as both of them have never sticked so strictly to the song format before.

On „Garden of Dreams“ Alquimia creates angelic choirs, that seem to dance on Gleisbergs gently shimmering string-arrangements – thus unveiling a special world full of enchanting melodies and harmonies.

LAUDANUM are Amir Baghiri & Rüdiger Gleisberg and with this CD album they offer 77 minutes of dark, cinematic compositions as taken from a Film Noir. Amir's spacious drones and tribal rhythms are the perfect companion to Rüdiger's neo classical arrangements, resulting in a dramatic soundtrack of emotional electronic music where organic sounds, machines and celestial vocals join together into a beautiful whole.

My wish for an extended version of Amir Baghiri’s & Rüdiger Gleisberg’s EP that saw the light of day in 2001 has finally come true. The original, quiet-atmospheric 21-minute recording of sacred minimalism has been expanded to an almost 77-minute aural work with more dynamics.It’s full of secret gothic mystic, vibrant tribal rhythms, vocal samples along assorted medieval and oriental elements while flashes of Gregorian chant fly by. This time around, its sonic perfume feels even darker, more disorientating, hallucinating as being a kind of shaman-ritual, as it turns up the psychedelic alley quite regularly.There are also introspective momentums though, such as the mesmerizing "Vinolentia" and cool-atmospheric turmoil of the 17-minute "Secretum". The harmonic, silent-meditative nature of the concept ep (the three opening tracks of the full-length) is left behind from time to time, and followed-up by feverish, dramatic, contemporary sounding and further mind-expanding excursions with some neo-classical edges. The enchanting "Beatitudes" and "Inhians", encountered at the end of the journey, come closest to the sound and impact of the original.Still, "Laudanum’s" celebratory, highly imaginary but also far more adventurous outcome needs several listening sessions to discover its deeper layers, intrinsic magic and grab its full impact eventually. Veterans Rüdiger Gleisberg and Mathias Grassow, who have previously worked together in constellations such as KarmaCosmic and Nostalgia (together with Carsten Agthe), have come together again to create Ad Lucem, an album dedicated to the light and the hope for a better tomorrow. Six deep pieces carefully balancing on a slight penumbra between light and darkness.

Here is the new and long-awaited second work on the renowned swedish GTERMA label in accustomed quality : THE SEER is about the famous american medium EDGAR CAYCE(1877-1945), who in so-called "readings" made contact with other worlds in a kind of trance and seemed both prophetic and was able to make contact with the "hereafter".
He was particularly stressed by many desperate parents & partners, who especially after the 1st World War sought help from him because of the loss of their beloved......
EDGAR CAYCE was called "the sleeping prophet" because he gave his "readings" lying down and with his eyes closed.

Particularly noteworthy for us artists is his statement that "music would be the medicine of the future".

The exceptional singer Darshini, who earned a lot of attention with her mantra cd „Prema Bhava“, joined up with cosmic india trio Karmacosmic for a production well worthy to listen to.
After Karmacosmic debut „Music for Tantra & Meditation“, the three renowned musicians remained true to their distinctive style, a fancy composition of ethno- world- music and ambient & chill- out, but enriched their work with Darshinis sophisticated mantra-singings, who – being a trained yoga teacher – genuine lives spirituality.
Darshini, whose chanting emanates passion and magic affiliates her musical work with yoga techniques and meditation so that once being in this special state of consciousness, she can show herself to her chanting with all abandonment.
At last it shoudn`t be kept quiet that Karmacosmic incorporator Gleisberg, established since 15 years with symphonically coined compositions on numerous cd publishments, met Darshini in a yoga- ayurveda– ashram where the idea of a collaboration was born.

Recommended for all tribal-ambient music lovers!
