Food For Fantasy - Fresh Food

Artist: Food For Fantasy (Robert Schroeder)
P: 2010
Mysteriously spherical sounds lead us to the world of Food For Fantasy: Dreamy soundscapes over downbeat rhythms are enriched with the typical Food For Fantasy guitar melodies. F4F manages to combine modern chill out sounds and lounge beats with spacey synthesizer sounds to create a fantastic atmosphere. Lay back and enjoy your time for dreaming.
A must for all Double Fantasy fans!
Fresh Food is the title of the new FOOD FOR FANTASY album.
The artists DREAMSTAR and PHIL MOLTO again present with this fantastic album a new work, after the successful rebirth of the legendary project DOUBLE FANTASY in the year 2006 with the album The Secret Of Dreamin.
FOOD 4 FANTASY is particularly characterised by his own music style, which was designated as „Californian Groove“ at the end of the 80's in the USA. The fresh sound of modern synthesizers, paired with spherical guitar melodies, unusual synthesizer atmospheres, groovy sequences and rhythms, beautiful melodies and warm guitar sound charms a spacey atmosphere, which offers works like a gentle summer breath and a feeling of sun, freedom, adventure, experience and relaxation. The Americans connect this music with lifestyle, music to the drive on the endless highways.
While the two preceded CD albums The Secret Of Dreamin and Fruits Of Fantasy were considered in music more to continue the Original style of DOUBLE FANTASY, the current production Fresh Food is aligned to further development.
The 10 tracks of this new Electronic Music CD offer different atmospheres, from spherically dreamy downbeat to rhythmical lively upbeat. Also friends of longer tracks come here at their expense. Altogether, this would fulfill Robert Schroeder produced album expec-tations for good Electronic Music.

“Transformation” is the third album by the Danish electronic musician Bjørn Jeppesen, a.k.a. Nattefrost. With the first two CD’s “Absorbed In Dreams And Yearning” from 2006 and “Underneath The Nightsky” from 2007, Bjørn gained rather a following with his fresh new look on electronic music.
Fine melodies, nice rhythms, Berlin School influenced sequences and ambientsounds with a certain “Scandinavian feeling” were the key elements of these two great records. His new album is called “Transformation”. With this title, you might ask if Bjørn transforms musically on this CD. No, this is (happily) not the case. But there is certainly some change noticeable in his music. This change means that Bjørn explores the melodically side of his music some more on “Transformation”. Therefore the music has become quite assessable and might appeal a lot of people.
It already starts with the really wonderful first track, “Decadence” with an excellent sequence, a soft rhythm and a superb solo. Jean Michel Jarre at his best greets here. This is also the fact on the outstanding “A Path less followed”. Again, as was the fact on “Underneath The Nightsky”, Robert Schroeder gives a hand by co-composing two tracks, “Perfectly Connected” and “Kopenhaachen” (the capitol of Jeppensen’s home country, Denmark). Phil Molto plays some strong guitarparts on these compositions.
With “Transformation”, Nattefrost is growing and that is not only a good thing for Bjørn but also for electronic music in general.

Introducing the second album by the Danish electronic musician Bjørn Jeppesen, also known as Nattefrost. His previous cd “Absorbed In Dreams And Yearning” showed on one hand a familiar sound but on the other hand also a fresh new look on electronic music. He cleverly mixed influences of the Berlin School with ambient sounds and a certain “Scandinavian feeling”. “Underneath The Nightsky” is a continuation of this but again goes somewhat further. Bjørn’s music is melodical, accessible and has a rich and varying sound. Take, for instance, a piece like “Searching For A Distant Planet” which has a slight Gothic atmosphere, a fine rhythm, a nice solo, beautiful sounds and a great overall way to it. Sometimes the (earlier) sound of Jean Michel Jarre comes to mind while listening to Jeppesen’s composition.
This is happening in the tracks “Observing Emotions” (listen to that solo!), “The Pleasure Of Tranquility” and “The Magic Of Forgotten Times”. Well, this last thing is indeed a little bit the case on “Underneath The Nightsky” but Bjørn keeps it also a little modern and that is nicely done. And then there is the excellent melodic “Winterland” that he composed and played together with no one less than Robert Schroeder.
This album shows the growth of a fine new talent. A talent that deserves to be listened to…

Robert Schroeder + Bernd Kistenmacher - Bochum Live 2011

Artist: Robert Schroeder + Bernd Kistenmacher
P: 2011
The concert by Robert Schroeder of the 12th of March 2011 in the Planetarium Bochum together with drummer Gigi Frieg and Bernd Kistenmacher will be published as CD this month. This is the joy and the small consolation of those who unfortunately could not witness the concert live.
Because the response of the audience was convincing: -"Such a great live concert I have not seen or heard for a long time, tip!" - "the musical highlight was certainly Robert Schroeder's performance" - "this was a real treat and showed the great quality of live of Robert" - "pity for anyone who could witness that not live". Just Right, and that is why there will be this beautiful concert CD from the 20th 2011.
