”DIFFERENT SKIES” is a tribute to great classics of electronic music, mostly Tangerine Dream’s Berlin school from the 70’s-80’s. But you’ll find also a lot of nice hints to Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. This album was inspired by these distant and mysterious landscapes, suggested in the famous science-fiction novels from Arthur C.Clarke and Frank Herbert. In “DIFFERENT SKIES”, you’ll find profund and soothing ambiences, as well as aerial and powerful sequencing works, subtle blending of analog sounds with modern textures. It’s like a filmscore for some novel or imaginary movie. A travel towards unknown skies, and the way back to a golden age of electronic music.

The new album from Ayers is a tribute to the great musician of the 70 and 80s like Klaus Schulze , Tangerine Dream but primarily Vangelis . The soothing climate of melodies mixed with strong themes and Asian accents ( Vangelis China greets here), hypnotic sequences out of a huge fleet of virtual synthesizers . A great discovery this French musician .
