Although Rüdiger impressed as a member of a local beat group in the 1970s, increasing exposure to artists such as Neu!, Tangerine Dream, Reich and Riley pushed him towards electronic and experimental music, a style better suited to his solitary temperament. In the search for sonic expression, he overcame his lack of electrical knowledge and courageously continued to solder organs, effects units and self-built effects units and self-built modular systems, all in the service of his specific sound.
