The re-edits of Indra’s early albums have reached their final stage. Interactive Play – The Essential is a series of two single CDs set published as early as 1994, and comprises the best of Indra’s first 12 albums that were released between 1993 and 1995. Each CD contains 11 tracks and a 20 minutes plus bonus piece.

As mentioned on the inside cover of each album re-edit, Indra explains that not all of the old albums could be recovered since the magnetic tapes have degraded over the course of time. Out of the extensive and impressive 40 album discography, only 6 were not fully recoverable and thus could not be republished. Although, some of the recovered tracks or excerpts from them are now icluded in this compliation.

Indra - Interactive Play (Vol. 2)

The re-edit of the second volume of Interactive Play – The Essential compilation is completed. Indra wraps up the difficult but essential task of including the early albums in his electronic music discography. Just like volume 1, the second volume also has 11 tracks plus a 20 minutes bonus piece.

INDRA’s second solo creation is re-edited, added and carefully prepared for all those who have or have not had a chance to listen to it so far. According to INDRA, it seems that Kingdom of Light was the most sold album for many years after its first release and he explains this on the CD booklet, plus some other interesting details about the stages that he took on to record this album.
The second Indra album (Kingdom of Light, 1993) is now available as new 2011 re-mastered edition that also includes a 12 minutes bonus track.

Indra - Live in the Salt Mine (DVD +CD)

At last, after a long wait, you can delight yourself with the first DVD of INDRA’s live concert. It contains two discs: the video recording of the concert from the Turda Salt Mine in 2007 and the audio version on a separate CD. Even though this concert took place almost three years ago, we are delighted to present this video performance of INDRA. The artist revealed to us that due to some insurmountable hardware problems, which appeared unexpectedly some time ago during the final stages of editing, a large part of the recording was lost. Consequently the final piece (Mythical Forest) had to be cut short, and the encore at the end of the concert had to be completely eliminated. INDRA told us that this massive loss of data caused major problems in editing, especially with synchronization, but it continued and eventually managed with certain compromises, which were not noticeable to us at all when we viewed the concert. Nevertheless, loyal to his fans and audiophiles, INDRA decided to include in the box the audio version of the concert with approximately 25 minutes more music than in the video version, all in superior audio quality. The DVD extras are about the back stage activities during the preparation of the concert, presented in a lively and inspired way (The Making-Of), along with INDRA’s comments. A pleasant surprise is The Interview with INDRA, made by Marius-Christian Burcea in the artist’s own studio. We find out many things behind the scenes of electronic music as well as the beginnings of INDRA’s creative music and his future plans, and much more. Appreciate this DVD as a refreshing element on the electronic music scene, rich in both information and refinement - regardless of the serious impediments encountered in the making.

Parallel Time comes from 1993, and as the musician confesses, it represents an abstract vision of themes inspired from the realm of lost civilizations.
The two, 30 minutes long tracks form Indra’s third solo album and they offer to the attentive listeners a gradual access to a complex sound dimension.
And as it is all too common nowadays to find bonus tracks on Indra’s re-edited albums, this one makes no exception. Never published before, they are manifestations of suddenly inspired, musical creative moments. Recorded in 2007, this track is part of the ‘special reserve’, which is carefully kept in Indra’s musical vault.
