Divided by Two (Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda) - The Legend

Artist: Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda
P: 2018
Divided by Two is an ambient project by Italian artist Gabriele Quirici (aka Perceptual Defence) and Belgian artist Danny Budts (aka Syndromeda)
"The Legend" is the story about Silvius Brabo who was a mythical Roman soldier who is said to have killed a giant, and by this would have created the name Brabant. Later this story was also used to explain the name Antwerp (meaning hand throwing). Brabo once killed a giant, called Druon Antigoon, who asked money from people who wanted to pass the bridge over the river Scheldt. When they didn't want to or couldn't pay, he cut off their hand and threw it in the river. Because of this, Brabo also removed the hand of the giant, and threw it into the river. (Wikipedia)

Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda - Live at Cosmic Nights 2017

Artist: Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda
P: 2018
PERCEPTUAL DEFENCE & SYNDROMEDA is a cooperation between both of this artists from Rome (Italy) and Antwerp (Belgium)
"Two Aliens conversating in the silent space" is the title of this live-album, that refers to the former deep-space trilogy of both musicians. In May 2017 Perceptual Defence and Syndromeda performed a live concert in a closed former plant in Belgium (ZLDR Luchtfabriek Heusden-Zolder) in front of an audience waiting in exited attention for ambient space sounds amongst huge generators, machines, tubes and turbines. Anyone being present may have saved this indelible memory for ever. To give an emphasis to this memory as well as for friends of ambient music, who weren't able to visit that stunning event, this album is reason enough to be released now to at least give a musical impression.

Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda - The Fear of the Emptiness Space

Artist: Perceptual Defence + Syndromeda
P: 2014
PERCEPTUAL DEFENCE & SYNDROMEDA is a cooperation between both of this artists from Rome (Italy) and Antwerp (Belgium)
"Fear of the Emptiness Space" is a remarkable album that matches the expectations of fans of both artists for their atmospheric character that is created by ambient, sequences and electronic sound images.
This time the artists tried to express the consequences of an encounter with aliens. They warn us - could aliens just be as human, as we are...
The music expresses this tension vividly through two langtracks of each more than 30 minutes.
"Aliens : beautiful, peaceful, enlightened creatures from outer space teaching mankind their wisdom?
Built on dark revolving textures and crepuscular sequences, this album has only one purpose: to warn us.
The universe could be anything but such a great place to encounter new lifeforms.
Because aliens could be just as human as we are." *

Perceptual Defence - Changing Images

Artist: Perceptual Defence
P: 2019

I’ve started to compose this album in september 2018 during a very important moment for me and my family. I’ve started thank to a new job to travel by train every week from Rome to Switzerland. This has given to me the opportunity to experience two different realities and different landscapes and also experience different emotional images in my mind. Therefore "Changing Images" is my attempt I wanted to try to translate my emotional images into music.Special Thanks to Danny Budts, John Valk, Mark de Vit, Johan Geens, Sylvain Mazars and Kilian Schloemp, all the friends of the 22nd Century Music Group and all the Friends and Musicians round the World

A special Thanks to Paolo Groppioni for the wonderful Grp Sequencer and Synthesizers
